Emily in Paris (2020– ) is one of Netflix’s biggest hits in recent years and after the upcoming sixth season it is unfortunately the end of the story for the beloved rom-com. Fortunately, Videoland also appears to have some things planned for next year. Life Barcelona looks like the Dutch version of it Emily in Paris to become!
Life Barcelona
Videoland announced today that it is working hard on a brand new drama series. Life Barcelona is the service’s newest Original and is suspiciously similar to a Netflix hit in terms of atmosphere and story Emily in Paris. Fans of the rom-com with Lily Collins won’t have to be without a juicy and entertaining drama series for long after the final season. Life Barcelona should be released on Videoland in 2027.

Holly Mae Brood
The recordings are now in full swing, the streaming service said in a press release. In this brand new series, Holly Mae Brood plays the leading role of Juul, a young woman who starts a new life in the Catalan capital. According to Videoland, not only is she the star of the show, but Barcelona itself is also the heart of the series. The first stills have already been shared.
