
In the hilly streets of Monterey Park, a small, quiet suburb east of Los Angeles, opposition to data centers is visible on every corner of the lawn. In front of most of the pavilions, residents have planted election signs depicting an enormous red and green dragon wrapped around a stylized data center, which it crushes with its body and legs.
