For years, Renée Vermeeren was one of the driving forces behind FilmVandaag.nl, but at the end of May she officially stepped down as editor-in-chief. As of today, she will hand over the baton to Lise Knipping.
Parting
Every day, Renée Vermeeren managed to inform the readers of FilmVandaag.nl, but above all to entertain them with news, updates, lists and more when it comes to films and series. From all the titles that were newly released on Netflix to the best films that you could watch on television; the editor-in-chief has written a lot herself in recent years and also managed an editorial staff full of talented writers. But it is now time for a new challenge and that is why Renée officially said goodbye to FilmVandaag at the end of May.

Renée will hand over the baton to Lise Knipping in June – so to me! These are big shoes to fill, but I like a fun challenge and this is one that suits me perfectly. Especially because FilmVandaag is certainly no stranger to me. I enjoyed working as a freelance editor for this site for almost 2.5 years. For me it certainly does not feel like a completely new step, but rather like a very nice return with a new challenge in which I can put all my passion.
It is a wonderful step that I can now take thanks to Kaz, Daan and Renée. I am really looking forward to getting to know you as readers better in the near future and to being able to provide this beautiful site with the latest Hollywood news, streaming releases and cinema hits.
