The suspect in the car-ramming attack on the sidelines of the Berlin Pride parade is believed to be a supporter of the previously convicted jihadist group Islamic State, two German media reported on Sunday.

According to the magazine’s sites The mirror and everyday BildAbdul B. had tried to join ISIS in Syria in 2025 but was arrested in Lebanon.
