
After thirty years of research on pancreatic cancer, Professor Pascal Hammel, for the first time, spoke of “real hope” regarding a treatment targeting the Kras gene, present in 90% of cases. It was in June 2025, during the World Cancer Congress in Chicago (United States). This year again, while the congress is being held from May 29 to June 2, hope has been confirmed: the treatment received a standing ovation from oncologists.
