This is a new stage in the history of the Centre-Val de Loire region. Since this Thursday, June 25, its 2.56 million inhabitants are officially called Centrevallois and Centrevalloises. The announcement was made by François Bonneau, the socialist president of the local authority, who, on January 7, signaled his intention to set up a democratic process for designating the regional gentile.
