Prime Video has the cast of the second season of Young Sherlock (2026– ) further expanded. Sophie Skelton and Indira Varma, among others, join Guy Ritchie’s detective series.
New cast members
Next to Skelton (Outlander (2014–2026)) a Warm (Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)) include Olivia Williams (Dune: Prophecy (2024– )) an Aidan Gillan (Game of Thrones (2011–2019)) added. With these new additions, the cast continues to grow into an ensemble with many well-known names.
Sherlock as a nineteen-year-old student
In the second season, hero Fiennes Tiffin again takes on the role of the young Sherlock Holmes. The series tells the origin story of Sherlock Holmes, before he becomes the famous detective from the books by Arthur Conan Doyle. In the series, the nineteen-year-old detective studies at the University of Oxford. The new season will revolve around a brand new mysterious case.

Guy Ritchie returns to direct the new season. The second season is currently in production. It is not yet known when the first episodes will appear on Prime Video.
