Three hundred hours. This is the time that the Beatles spent in the studio, from April to June 1966, on the album Revolver which was released on August 5. Never seen before! Their songs also stand out. Tomorrow Never Knows is built by John Lennon on a single chord, according to Indian musical tradition. “I want my voice to sound like the Dalai Lama chanting on top of a mountain,” demands Lennon. Sound engineer Geoff Emerick will resonate his voice in the wooden body of a Hammond organ for a psychedelic effect. This is the first of their sonic discoveries.
