Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon were enjoyed to the fullest for six years The Morning Show (2019– ) and it will soon come to an end. The series will return one more time in 2027 for the fifth and final season.
Appropriate farewell
Aniston says he is grateful that Apple had confidence in the vision of its makers from the start. According to her, the series offered the opportunity to tell stories with a touch of black humor that are closely related to current events. The actress calls it a privilege to work with the cast, writers, producers and crew, who have come to feel like family over the past nine years. The makers would have known for a while that the series would end after five seasons and that is precisely why they now promise a fitting farewell for the characters.
New cast members
Witherspoon also looks back on the past years with great pride. For the actress has The Morning Show always had a deeper meaning. It’s not just a series about a newsroom, it’s much more. It is a series that focuses on the importance of journalism, a series about the importance of press freedom and the people who make it all possible, often by making great personal sacrifices. For Witherspoon it is The Morning Show a creative highlight of her career and, like Aniston, she is extremely grateful to everyone who contributed to it.
