Harlan Coben might be the most popular name on Netflix right now. His latest series I Will Find You (2026) performs like no other. In the meantime, the streaming service is working hard on a new drama series based on Coben’s stories. It’s about Myron Bolitar. The first cast members were announced earlier this month. New names were announced today.
Ten new names
It was previously announced that Colin Woodell will play the leading role of former basketball player and sports agent Myron Bolitar. KJ Apa, Diane Guerrero, Chloe Fineman, Jabari Banks, Jamie McShane and Ben McKenzie are also part of the cast. Now Netflix has announced ten more new actors. Melissa Benoist plays Valerie Simpson, a former tennis champion who tries to revive her career five years after a mysterious breakdown during an important match. Bebe Neuwirth plays Ellen Bolitar, Myron’s mother, while Griffin Dunne portrays his father, Alan Bolitar. Isaiah Hill, Amanda Warren, Quincy Isaiah, Charlie Tahan, Jamie Hector, Sandrine Holt and Ra’Mya Latiah Aikens have also been added to the series.
Big names behind the scenes
The new characters range from promising basketball talents and NBA players to a detective, a former criminal and relatives of Myron. The series therefore seems to focus not only on the sports world, but also on the personal and criminal storylines for which Coben’s books are known. Behind the scenes are David E. Kelley, known for Big Little Lies (2017-2019), not Kyle Long, Suits (2011–2019), at the helm as showrunners and executive producers. Greg Yaitanes, House of the Dragon (2022– ), will direct several episodes.
Watch on Netflix • The series follows a former basketball player whose NBA career was ended by injury, who reinvents himself as a sports agent and navigates the high-risk world of sports, risking his own life to save his clients.
A release date for Myron Bolitar has not yet been announced.
