
As the parliamentary year ends on Friday July 24, the new ordinary session which will open on October 1 is already impacted by the presidential calendar. In fact, deputies will only be able to sit for five months until February 28, 2027, in order to leave room for the electoral campaign. With two main consequences: the parliamentary niches – this annual day available to each of the eleven groups in the National Assembly to place their texts on the agenda – will all have to take place during this short period of time.
