
Around sixty young people gathered that morning in the basement of the gleaming “Innovation center” building, in the center of Pristina. Some have just graduated, others are students, still others are still in high school. They come from all cantons of Kosovo, and want to pursue a career in IT. A booming sector in Kosovo, and a specificity in the Balkans: the number of IT companies there increased from 930 in 2020 to 1,950 in 2023.
