In its federal register, the equivalent of the Official Journal in France, the Trump administration affirmed on July 16 its wish to substantially reduce the duration of visas granted to foreign journalists established on American territory without having permanent resident status. If the measure were effectively implemented, they would have to renew their visa every 240 days (approximately 8 months), and not every 5 years, as today.
