She returned the day before from Barcelona where she was invited to the 12th international competition for modern composition, happy to return to the calm of her vacation home in Loix, on the Ile de Ré. In this somewhat remote village, between sea and marshes, Édith Canat de Chizy wrote nearly a hundred of her scores. And this summer promises to be, once again, studious, just as she likes it.
