England in the 14th century
In the plague-stricken England of the fourteenth century, the population suffers under the ruthless rule of the crown. While the black death grips the country and despair sets in, one simple farmer refuses to accept his fate any longer. His personal act of defiance unexpectedly unleashes a wave of rebellion that spreads across the country like wildfire. He grows into the leader of a large-scale popular uprising and becomes a legendary symbol of hope for the oppressed masses.

In plague-ridden 14th century England, a peasant instigates a rebellion against King Richard II and inadvertently becomes a legend of the Resistance.
