Amazon MGM Studios just released the first trailer for I Play Rocky (2026), the new film by Oscar winner Peter Farrelly (Green Book (2018)). The leading role is played by Anthony Ippolito (The Offer (2022)), who takes on the role of a young, unknown Sylvester Stallone.
The inspiring story behind Rocky
I Play Rocky is a compelling true story about an unknown actor with an unwavering belief that he was not only destined to Rocky (1976), but he had to be Rocky Balboa. Sylvester Stallone was told ‘no’ everywhere, but he went all out and stuck to his goal of playing the leading role, against all odds.
