Thursday’s stage
The 13th stage will be the only one of the Tour to exceed the 200 km mark. “Its atypical profile favors adventurers, but the formation of a breakaway could take time to settle. We will have to wait to pass Besançon, then greet Thibaut Pinot in his stronghold of Mélisey, before seeing the great difficulty of the finale,” explains Christian Prudhomme.
