Tadej Pogacar won his third stage victory in the 2026 Tour de France by winning alone on Tuesday July 14 in the Lioran ski resort, in the Massif Central, to further increase his lead at the top of the general classification.
The Slovenian attacked 15.5 km from the finish of this 10th stage, in the final part of the very steep Col du Pertus, to catch up with the Ecuadorian Richard Carapaz, who had escaped, and cross the line with 32 seconds ahead of Remco Evenepoel and 34 seconds over Paul Seixas, once again astonishing.
Second in the general classification, Jonas Vingegaard finished only seventh, 44 seconds behind.

Wednesday’s stage
Starting from Nevers and continuing to Chalon-sur-Saône, the riders will face a 12th stage of 179.1 km. According to Christian Prudhomme, president of the Tour, “the peloton will, like the day before, cross the Loire near Decize, visit Montceau-les-Mines then Sud-Morvan, but always with a close eye on the margin available to the escapees. Even with the help of the Montagny-lès-Buxy hill (2.6 km at 4.3% average slope), there will be little hope for the attackers to resist the teams of sprinters in the Chalonnais vineyards. »
