New videos provide details on the death of Joan Sebastian Guerrero, the 26-year-old Colombian man shot and killed in the state of Maine during an operation carried out by US immigration police (ICE) on Monday.

A surveillance camera filmed the scene just after the shooting, according to CNN information.
The victim’s car, a white Kia, can be seen entering an intersection and going in circles for more than a minute, a sign that the driver was no longer able to control the vehicle.
From another angle, two federal agents are visible outside the car, one of them holding the driver’s side door in order to stop the vehicle.

At least two police cars, flashing lights on, are behind the Kia.
The windshield of the victim’s car has four bullet holes.
The Colombian man’s car ended up being stopped by a law enforcement vehicle.
Subsequently, an officer removes Joan Sebastian Guerrero from the vehicle and handcuffs him, while he appears unconscious.
His head hits the ground during this maneuver.
About six minutes after the shooting, federal and local agents tried to help the victim, according to the American media.
The Department of Homeland Security also issued a statement on X, stating that “an illegal immigrant left the residence in a vehicle. ICE law enforcement attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle. The vehicle attempted to flee the scene and, fearing for public safety, an officer fired his weapon.”

The department’s secretary, Markwayne Mullin, however, reportedly acknowledged that Mr. Guerrero was not the person initially targeted by the operation.
Remember that this is the second death involving ICE in similar circumstances in a week.
