There is a real festival film in the making at Dutch FilmWorks! The new Dutch cinema film Campingflight to Paradise (2027) is set at the popular music festival Lowlands. The upcoming romantic film, made by Joosje Duk, should be released on the silver screen next year.
Where goes Campingflight to Paradise over?
A chance meeting on the train to Lowlands turns Siep and Tara’s lives upside down. One impulsive decision heralds the start of a thrilling weekend full of pumping beats, confusion and unconditional desire. Together they embark on a summer voyage of discovery in which time fades away and they discover what love can be when the rest of the world ceases to exist for a while.
Joosje Duk
The title of the upcoming movie is Campingflight to Paradisereferring to the full name of the music festival: A Campingflight to Lowlands Paradise. The romantic film was made by Joosje Duk, who previously worked for Netflix Happy Ending (2023) and came up with on Videoland Maximum (2024– ). The leading roles are played by Joes Brauers (Hardcore Never Dies (2023)) and ‘Ntianu Stuger. In addition, Dutch Filmworks announces that many well-known artists will also make an appearance.

When in the cinema?
The recordings of Campingfligh to Paradise will largely take place during the upcoming edition of Lowlands at the end of August. Other recordings have already started. It is not yet known when the new film will be released, but according to Dutch FilmWorks it should Campingflight to Paradise will be released in theaters next year in the spring.
