
To say that six months after the presentation of the Trump plan for Gaza, the population finds itself caught in a dangerous status quo is a cruel understatement. Between a resilient Hamas and an Israeli army which is increasing its territorial hold – already to the tune of 70% – and intends to remain “for an indefinite period”, the prospects are more than gloomy.
