Mexican Isaac Del Toro won the second stage of the Tour de France on Sunday July 5 ahead of his leader Tadej Pogacar, at the top of Montjuic hill, in Barcelona, where Jonas Vingegaard retained the yellow jersey.
For his first participation in the Grande Boucle, Del Toro, 22, crossed the line as winner in front of Pogacar who did everything to leave the victory to his lieutenant at UAE and seemed almost happier than if he had won himself.

Monday’s stage
For the third day, the runners will start from Granolers, in Spain, before arriving in France, after 195.9 km. “The profile of the day lends itself more to the formation of a breakaway of strong adventurers than to the mobilization of the best climbers in the world,” estimates Christian Prudhomme, the director of the Tour.
