
“Parasitism” and “unfair commercial practice”: the Paris Economic Activities Court condemned Uber, Friday July 3, for having, in a 2025 advertising campaign, hijacked the illuminated sign visible on the roof of taxis in Paris. The platform had used the same form, the same graphics, and substituted “Parisian taxi” with the words “Parisian Uber” in order to promote its Uber Taxi service, which allows you to book a taxi ride from the Californian giant’s application.
