
Journey to the center of the Earth. For its 15th edition, this open-air contemporary art trail celebrates in its own way the work of Jules Verne, born in Nantes in 1828. Founded by Jean Blaise to offer a new look at the city during the summer, the Voyage à Nantes is for the first time under the full responsibility of Sophie Levy, former director of the city’s Arts Museum. For her baptism of fire, she chose to open a cycle on the four elements, starting with the earth. “The variety in which the artists have interpreted this theme reflects its depth,” underlines the general director of Voyage à Nantes. Some saw the depth of time, others a cosmic, political, ecological angle…”.
