The noose is tightening on the National Rally (RN). Tuesday June 30, several searches were carried out in European countries, including France, as part of an investigation opened in July 2025 by the European prosecutor’s office. This targets the former Identity and Democracy (ID) group in the European Parliament, of which the RN was a part between 2019 and 2024, and which brought together several far-right parties.
