“On June 10, the plaque in memory of Albina Peterson, affixed to one of the buildings of the Grand Theater on Nikolskaya Street, in the center of Moscow, was removed. This is where she lived until January 28, 1938, the day of her arrest. She was shot on April 7, 1938,” says Olesya. This Muscovite is one of the activists of the “The Last Address” project, which tries at all costs to perpetuate the memory of people shot during the years of Stalinist terror.
