Netflix has released the official trailer for A Toxic Love Story (2026), a new truecrime documentary that will soon be available on the streaming service. The documentary is directed by Alexandra Lacey (The Twister: Caught in the Storm (2025)) and produced by Curious Films.

Soon all clues seem to point to her husband’s ex-wife, who is eventually arrested. However, what seems like a clear case at first glance grows into a much more complex mystery. As the investigation continues to unfold, new revelations come to light and it becomes increasingly unclear who is telling the truth.
