A major setback for the latest DC film Supergirl. The superhero film, created by Craig Gillespie, grossed just $38 million in the United States in its first weekend. A big disappointment, because according to Variety it remains to be seen whether Supergirl which will make a profit for Warner Bros. and DC Studios.
