The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announced on Friday June 26 that repairs had been completed on the main power line supplying the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine.
The repairs, carried out as part of a temporary local ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia negotiated by the IAEA, concerned two sites: the 750-kilovolt Dniprovska main power line, disconnected since the end of March, and the switching station of the Zaporizhzhia thermal power plant, which supplies electricity to the nuclear plant via the 330-kV Ferosplavna-1 emergency line, the agency said in a statement. press release.
However, the Dniprovska line has not yet been put back into service “due to serious damage to its electrical connection station, located more than 100 kilometers to the northwest,” adds the nuclear safety guard.

This status will soon be refused to men of fighting age, submitting their very first application. “This is something the Ukrainians asked us to do,” asked European Commissioner Magnus Brunner.
