Dangerous mission
After a bittersweet victory that saved the Northern Water Tribe from the invading Fire Nation, Avatar Aang (Gordon Cormier), Katara (Kiawentiio) and Sokka (Ian Ousley) bounce back. They embark on a mission to convince the elusive Earth King to help them battle the fearsome Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim).
Forces are expanded
Their journey to the impenetrable city of Ba Sing Se, home of the Earth King, is treacherous but also rewarding. Aang discovers Toph (Miyako), a brave young master of earthbending, and convinces her to help him add earthbending to his powers of air and waterbending. Aang’s training in earthbending gives Cormier the opportunity to further expand his knowledge of martial arts.
Cast members
Gordon Cormier (Aang), Kiawentiio (Katara) and Ian Ousley (Sokka) will return in the new season, as will Dallas Liu (Zuko), Elizabeth Yu (Azula), Paul Sun-Hyung Lee (Iroh), Daniel Dae Kim (Fire Lord Ozai), Momona Tamada (Ty Lee) and Thalia Tran (Mai). Netflix also announced some new faces. Miya Cech joins the cast in the iconic role of Toph and we also see Chin Han, Hoa Xuande and Justin Chien in the second season.

Netflix has already announced that a third season is also coming! In fact, according to Netflix, the recordings for these episodes have already been completed. We can already look forward to that third season! First let’s focus on the second season today.
