SkyShowtime has officially confirmed that The Dutton Ranch (2026– ), the latest series from the popular Yellowstone (2018–2024) universe, will be renewed for a second season. The story of Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler is far from over.

Beth and Rip start over

The nine-episode first season follows Beth Dutton, played by Kelly Reilly, and Rip Wheeler, played by Cole Hauser, as they try to build a new life in Texas. Far away from Montana, they hope to make a fresh start, but they are soon confronted with new challenges. A powerful rival ranch poses a constant threat, while the battle for land, power and family takes center stage again.

A new chapter in the Yellowstone universe

Dutton Ranch comes from Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, the producers behind the successful Yellowstonefranchise. The series only premiered a few months ago, but has already been given the green light for a second season.

It was also earlier this year Marshals (2026– ), in which Luke Grimes reprises his role as Kayce Dutton.

Great success for SkyShowtime

The series appears to be a hit for the streaming service. According to SkyShowtime it is Dutton Ranch on its way to becoming one of the most watched series on the platform. The first six episodes of the debut season are currently streaming exclusively on SkyShowtime. New episodes appear weekly on Fridays.
