
Who thought it was over and done with The Big Bang Theory (2007–2019), is wrong. Fans of the iconic sitcom can soon return to streaming for a new spin-off: Stuart Fails to Save the Universe (2026). A new trailer has now been shared by HBO Max.
The Big Bang Theory-universe is getting a new expansion with the arrival of Stuart Fails to Save the Universea series about Stuart Bloom. This is not the first spin-off of the sitcom that ended in 2019, because fans previously received Young Sheldon (2017-2024) me Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage (2024– ). The latest addition to that list is now equipped with a new trailer.
Stuart Bloom
Comic shop owner Stuart Bloom is used to fictional disasters, but now he’s caused one of his own. After accidentally destroying one of Sheldon’s and Leonard’s newest devices, he unleashes Armageddon across the multiverse. To restore reality, Stuart must become the ultimate hero against his will.
Parallel worlds
Fortunately, he is not alone: armed with the common sense of his girlfriend Denise, the muscle of geologist Bert and the genius of quantum physicist Barry Kripke, he travels through parallel worlds. Along the way they encounter bizarre, alternative versions of the familiar ones Big Bang Theory-friend group. But as the title suggests, this cosmic rescue operation is anything but smooth.
