Disney+ released the absurdist horror film at the beginning of May Send Help (2026) and is still very popular on the streaming service. Sam Raimi’s work can still be found in the Top 10 of the service’s best-known films.

Send Helpthe latest work from director Sam Raimi (The Evil Dead (1981) in Drag Me to Hell (2009)), was released in theaters at the beginning of this year and quickly found its way to streaming. The absurdist horror film with a 92% score on Rotten Tomatoes could be streamed on Disney+ from the beginning of May. Even now, after almost two months, it scores Send Help still very good. The horror film can currently still be found in the Top 10.

Where goes Send Help over?
Two rival colleagues are the only survivors of a plane crash and end up stranded on a deserted island. To survive, they are forced to put aside their bitter office feuds and join forces. However, the collaboration soon turns into a disturbing, pitch-black power struggle full of intrigue, where the line between the urge to survive and pure sabotage proves to be wafer-thin.
Cast members
The two main roles of Send Help are played by Rachel McAdams (Mean Girls (2004)) a Dylan O’Brien (The Maze Runner (2014)). Other roles in the Sam Raimi film are for Edyll Ismail (La Brea (2021–2024)), Dennis Haysbert (Far from Heaven (2002)), Xavier Samuel (Elvis (2022)) and Emma Raimi, Sam’s own daughter.
