
After seven weeks of significant social tensions, which cost the lives of 14 people, Bolivia appears to be on the path to calm. Monday June 22, former head of state Evo Morales, opponent of current president Rodrigo Paz, announced the temporary lifting of the last roadblocks still in place in the Andean country. Friday June 19, Rodrigo Paz managed to reach agreements with certain organizations behind the protest.
