Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026), Tom Holland’s fourth film as Peter Parker. The footage includes the first look at Mark Ruffalo’s return as Hulk.
Anonymous Spider-Man
The story takes place four years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) finished. Peter Parker has erased himself from everyone’s memory and lives alone, fighting crime anonymously. He lives under great pressure as a full-time Spider-Man, which entails a surprising physical evolution that is dangerous to his existence.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026)
Four years after the events of No Way Home, Peter (Tom Holland), now an adult, lives all alone in New York, having erased himself from the memories of his loved ones.
Hulk, Punisher and a new threat
A big surprise in the trailer is the role of Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo. In recent years, Bruce Banner has appeared as Smart Hulk and had a balance between his brains and brawn. The trailer shows that this time he returns to his rawer and more aggressive Hulk form. Jon Bernthal also returns in the trailer as Punisher. The identity of Sadie Sink’s character still remains a mystery.
Release date
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is from July 30 to be seen in the cinema. Meanwhile, Tom Holland has indicated that he will not play Spider-Man forever and has even mentioned a possible successor: Owen Cooper.
