We can already prepare for the arrival of a new Canadian coming-of-age series on Netflix. The streaming service announced the new series in September of last year Crew Girl and announced at the time that the recordings are in full swing. After some months of radio silence, Netflix now announces that a release date has been found for the release of the new series. The eight episodes of Crew Girl will be released on Netflix on September 10.
Elite boarding school
Sixteen-year-old Teagan faces the biggest challenge of her rowing career: she becomes the coxswain of a notoriously rebellious boys’ team at an elite boarding school. As she fights to gain the respect of her wayward crew, she becomes entangled in team drama, budding romance and fierce rivalries on the water. Teagan Tao stars in the lead role Crew Girl performed by Miky Martineau, who previously appeared in Star Trek: Section 31 (2025). We also see Jessica Paré (Mad Men (2007–2015)) as Ella Tae, plays Sam Brown (Time Cut (2024)) plays Josh Regis and stars Kyle Clark (Riverdale (2017–2023)) the character Cam Dillinger. The regular cast is complete with Scream VI actor Thomas Cadrot as Coach Matt Hayden.
