Disney will release a brand new animated film at the end of this year: Hexed (2026). The magical adventure film was announced last year and has gradually taken shape since then. It is now Hexedstarring Hailee Steinfeld, features its first teaser trailer!
When in the cinema?
Disney is gearing up for the release of a brand new animated film. For the magical Hexed strict de studio Hailee Steinfeld (Sinners (2025)) to voice the lead role of young Billie. Rashida Jones, Tracey Ullman and Stephen Fry are also part of the star cast. Disney has shared the very first teaser and also lets us know when we can expect the new animated film. From 25 november is Hexed can be seen exclusively in cinemas.

Magic portal in first teaser
In the very first teaser trailer we see how young Billie discovers at school that she has powers. This unpleasant discovery gets completely out of hand and she is therefore immediately suspended. Once home, she is sucked into a magical portal and ends up in a world that has long remained unknown to her.
Hidden world
A clumsy teenager and her perfectionist mother discover that her quirks are actually magical powers. This completely changes their lives and reveals a hidden magical world. Billie has to go on an adventure to reshape her identity and along the way discovers many family secrets that have been well hidden for a long time.
