Are you ready for a new exciting crime film from Spanish soil? Next month you can go to Netflix for The believers (2026). The new Netflix Original, which is called The Truthers in English, has now been provided with a first trailer.

This summer we can get back to work with a brand new Spanish crime film. The believers, The Truthers in English, is directed by Robert Gual and written by Carlos Montero and Dario Madrona, the duo behind hit series Elite (2018–2024).
First trailer
The protagonist will probably look very familiar to fans of Spanish Netflix Originals! Entrevías star Jose Coronado plays the lead role and the cast is rounded out by, among others The Modern-actress Stephanie Magnin. In the first trailer we get a new look at the upcoming crime series. We will have to be patient for that.
Where goes The believers over?
After years of radio silence, thirty-year-old Ruth returns to her parental home after the mysterious death of her mother. There she finds an unrecognizable father. Retired Martín has turned into a bitter, aggressive man who is completely enthralled by a dark conspiracy theory.
As the atmosphere in the house becomes increasingly grim, Ruth makes a terrifying discovery. She begins to suspect that her mother’s death was not an accident, and that she is sharing the walls with a murderer.
Watch on Netflix • The story revolves around Ruth, a thirty-year-old woman who has been distanced from her family for years. When her mother dies under mysterious circumstances, she returns to her parental home.
