Shortly after the release, Lionsgate announced the sequel. This sequel, titled The Housemaid’s Secretis – just like the first part – based on the bestselling series by author Freida McFadden.

Millie Calloway is relieved when she finds a new job as a housekeeper for the wealthy Douglas Garrick. The work is simple, the pay is good and it allows her to keep her dark past hidden. There is only one strict rule: she is absolutely not allowed to enter the guest room. Behind that closed door, Douglas hides his sick wife Wendy.
But when Millie hears vague noises while cleaning, discovers bloodstains and ultimately meets a terrified Wendy, she faces a dilemma. Cast members
Sydney Sweeney, who is attached to the project with her own new production company Honey Trap, reprises the role of Millie. We also see Michele Morrone again The Housemaid’s Secret. However, the cast will be expanded again. We see Kirsten Dunst in the role of Wendy and Love Story star Paul Anthony Kelly has just been cast in the role of Douglas.
When to see?
The production of The Housemaid’s Secretagain directed by Paul Feig and written by Rebecca Sonnenshine, will open this year. Unfortunately, it is not yet known when the sequel will be released The Housemaid premieres.
