
The American Secretary of Defense has lived up to his reputation. Known for his outspokenness, even for his hasty statements, Pete Hegseth took the opportunity of the commemorations of the Landing of June 6, 1944 in Normandy to once again challenge the European allies of the United States. “America must lead the way, and we will, but our allies must be with us, shoulder to shoulder,” asked Pete Hegseth, who announced Friday evening his withdrawal from the international ceremony scheduled for Saturday to devote himself to the American ceremony.
