Various British media today share that Anthony Head has died at the age of 72. His daughters, actresses Daisy and Emily Head, report that the actor died of pneumonia. “We know how much he would be missed by friends, colleagues and fans of the series he starred in,” Head’s daughters said.

Most viewers will mainly know Anthony Head from the role of Rupert Giles in the 90s classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to this iconic role, the British actor has other major titles to his name. For example, he was part of the cast of Apple TVs Ted Lasso and he played in, among others The Iron Lady (2011).
