Very good news for Outlander fans! The prequel series, Outlander: Blood of My Blood (2025– ), is getting a second season and the production company already has a release date for us! Although we now know when the historical drama series will return, it is unfortunately not yet known when the second season will be shown in the Netherlands.
Blood of my Blood
While we wait patiently until we see the final season of Outlander If we were able to watch it here in the Netherlands, we certainly didn’t have to be bored in the meantime. We were able to start working with it from February Outlander: Blood of my Blood. This prequel series, also written by Diana Gabaldon, has since finally been available on HBO Max.
8.3 Watch on Netflix • The series “Outlander” follows the life of Claire Randall *(Caitriona Balfe), a happily married nurse who mysteriously disappears shortly after World War II and awakens in 1743 Scotland.
Second season
The makers and Starz, the company behind this prequel series, did not keep fans in suspense for much longer and quickly announced that Blood of my Blood would also just get a second season. These episodes are now taking shape. Starz shares a teaser with new images and a release date. Returns from September 18 Outlander: Blood of my Blood officially back.
In the Netherlands?
Unfortunately, that does not mean that we can also check the episodes here in the Netherlands. As we are used to Outlander and the first season of the prequel, the Dutch release date will have to wait a while. It is not yet known when Blood of my Bloodstarring Hermione Corfield and Harriet Slater, returns here.
All-decisive choices
The second season continues where the first part ended. Henry and Julia do everything they can to return to their own time via the well-known stones of Craigh na Dun, while Ellen and Brian in turn become entangled in tensions surrounding the Jacobite rebellion of 1715. Their choices form the path to a new chapter.
