7:03 a.m. – Hezbollah attacked Israel in southern Lebanon
Hezbollah claimed responsibility for an attack on an Israeli target early Tuesday in southern Lebanon, as well as others Monday evening, after Donald Trump assured that the two sides would cease their clashes.
The official Lebanese Ani Agency also reported overnight that Israeli strikes had targeted the villages of Marwaniyeh, Sidiqine, Yater and Mansouri, in the south of the country, and that a “very violent detonation” had been heard in Debbine.
“Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a Merkava tank (…) with direct rocket fire,” which led to its destruction, Hezbollah wrote on Telegram, ensuring it was fighting against “the advance of Israeli forces” in Hadatha, in southern Lebanon.
6:40 a.m. – Israel says it intercepted two projectiles coming from Lebanon
The Israeli army announced the interception early Tuesday of two projectiles coming from Lebanon, after Donald Trump assured that the pro-Iranian movement Hezbollah and Israel would cease their clashes.
The Israeli army also announced in the same message that a “suspicious aerial target” had been identified shortly after and had fallen on the Israeli side of the border with Lebanon, without causing any injuries.

The Israeli army announced Monday evening the death of two soldiers in southern Lebanon, killed by Hezbollah explosive drones, including one near the Beaufort Fortress. Doctor Ori Yossef Silvester, 30, “fell in combat in southern Lebanon,” the army said in a brief statement. In the morning, she announced the death of staff sergeant Adam Tzarfati, 20, also killed in southern Lebanon.
