After the success of her directorial debut Woman of The Hour (2023), Anna Kendrick remains active behind the camera. The actress and filmmaker is once again working with Netflix for her next directorial project and will be the film adaptation of the popular novel The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo directing.

Author Taylor Jenkins Reid also continues to achieve success. Her most recent novel, Atmosphere, topped the bestseller lists and won several literary awards.
Strong start as a director
Kendrick made an impression with her first film as a director, Woman of the Hourwhich received critical acclaim after premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival. Netflix invested heavily in the project at the time and immediately saw Kendrick as a promising directorial talent.
