
Nayib Bukele in El Salvador, Javier Milei in Argentina, and even a few new ones like José Antonio Kast in Chile or Nasry Asfura in Honduras… Latin America is leaning seriously to the right, under the satisfied eye of Donald Trump. One country, however, could remain the pebble in the American president’s shoe: Colombia. With around 40% of voting intentions, the left-wing candidate Ivan Cepeda is the favorite in the presidential election this Sunday, May 31.
