“Los Angeles is a big city, but it gets lonely.” It is signed, John Sugar, who is in the season of the crime series Sugar (2024– ) was introduced as a private detective on a mission in the Hollywood area. The second season will be released this summer, and the trailer can now be viewed.
Two missing persons
While season 1 revolved around the disappearance of a Hollywood mogul’s granddaughter, Sugar now searches for the missing brother of a boxer. And that’s not all, because his own sister has still not been found. In his mission to solve his cases and bring justice, the detective looks straight into the dark underbelly of the city:
New in season 2
Farrell (The Banshees of Inisherin (2022)) introduces Sugar a new cast that also includes Jin Ha, Raymond Lee, Tony Dalton, Laura Donnelly, Sasha Calle and special guest star Shea Whigham. Sam Catlin (Preacher (2016–2019)) has steered the episodes on the right track.
