Good news for fans of the comedy drama series The Four Seasons (2025– ): the second season is available on Netflix from today. Created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield, the series returns with a new chapter full of humor, emotion and relationship chaos. In the first season we followed three friendly couples who have been living together for years and plan a joint holiday every season. The new season picks up again a few months later and presents the characters with new challenges.
Grief, new beginnings and big changes
The second season starts with a spring trip to the mountains in the north, where the group of friends gathers to scatter the ashes of their deceased friend Nick, played by Steve Carell. During an emotional journey to Nick’s favorite viewpoint, old tensions and new feelings are brought to the surface again.

Nick’s ex-wife Anne is also trying to rebuild her life and is gradually closing in on Ginny, the mother of Nick’s unborn child. The group of friends now feels responsible for playing a role in the baby’s life.

Danny and Claude also reflect on their future together. As they consider another kitchen renovation, bigger questions about their lifestyle and relationship also begin to surface.
