The second season of Bad Thoughts (2025– ) has been available on Netflix since yesterday and the first reactions once again seem very positive. The first season of the sketch series already became a surprising hit and many viewers now seem to be impressed again.
Secretly recognizable
The first reactions to the new episodes are slowly coming in online. Where many sketch series clearly indicate that viewers are watching a joke, choose Bad Thoughts precisely for a completely different approach. The scenes are filmed as small thrillers or short films with serious cinematography, dramatic music and actors who play their bizarre situations extremely seriously. The series contains thoughts and impulses that viewers may secretly recognize, but usually do not say out loud.
Tom Segura at his best
The leading role is again played by Tom Segura, who created and directed the series. In addition to regular faces such as Daniella Pineda and Robert Iler, there are guest roles for Luke Wilson, Maria Bamford, Kevin Nealon, Busy Philipps and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, among others. Just like the first season, the second season contains 6 episodes.
