Timothée Chalamet has a completely different look in set photos of the new A24 project – Paudal

Timothée Chalamet sports a completely new look in a bunch of new set photos from the film Marty Supreme. In the new project from production company A24, the Dune actor plays a professional table tennis player who made it into the history books late in life.

New look

With short(er) hair and a mustache, Chalamet moved around the set of this week Marty Supremewhere he collaborates with director Josh Safdie (Uncut Gems (2019)), Gwyneth Paltrow and Tyler, the Creator. The project is currently filming in New York.

Gone is the look we know from Dunemovies and Wonka (2023); for this playful biographical drama, Chalamet has adopted a look that suits his next character.

A big one in sports

Ping-pong player Marty Reisman collected no fewer than 22 table tennis titles over the decades, eventually becoming known as the ‘wizard of table tennis’. He passed away in 2012. This summer, A24 announced that Josh Safdie and Chalamet would be working on a film about his life. Reisman was born in 1930, and Chalamet’s look reflects what the man looked like in his twenties.

Marty Supreme

A fictional story inspired by the life of table tennis player Marty Reisman. Over the decades, this American collected 22 table tennis titles, becoming the oldest player to win a national competition in a racquet sport.

When Marty Supreme exactly what will be seen is not yet known.
