Pitch Perfect star Anna Kendrick takes the director’s chair for the first time Woman of The Hour (2023)a brand new Netflix film in which she also plays the leading role. The streaming service just shared the trailer.

Murder wave in the 1970s

The new Original film centers on an aspiring actress in 1970s Los Angeles and a serial killer who is in the middle of a years-long murder spree. Their lives intersect when they are cast in an episode of The Dating Game.

The serial killer Rodney is played by The Pope’s Exorcist actor Daniel Zovatto. Veep star Tony Hale, One Night in Miami actress Nicolette Robinson, Pete Holmes and Kathryn Gallagher also appear.
